The State of Indiana is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Indiana Alcohol & Tobacco Commission to process permits, coordinate enforcement, manage permit-related complaints, and provide guidance to leadership on outcomes. This role is responsible for processing and disposing of all temporary and event permits, coordinating enforcement efforts with district excise departments, managing permit-related complaints, and providing expert guidance to ATC leadership. The administrative assistant exercises discretion within governing laws to determine appropriate permit outcomes, coordinates stakeholders involved in applicant eligibility and enforcement, and helps develop procedures to address recurring or complex permitting issues. The role also supports implementation of new requirements resulting from changes in law.
