Job description

Akkodis is proud to partner with a global automotive client who is seeking a Program Coordinator to support leadership events, governance forums, and strategic initiatives within Enterprise Technology (ET) for a contractual opportunity in the Dearborn, MI area.

Pay Range: $34/hr. - $45/hr. (W2) - The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

In this role, you will partner with project leads, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to coordinate programs, facilitate communication, manage logistics, and ensure key initiatives remain on track.

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of enterprise-wide leadership events, including Town Halls, All Hands meetings, governance forums, and executive sessions.
  • Coordinate venue logistics, audiovisual requirements, attendee communications, and event materials.
  • Serve as an on-site point of contact during live events, ensuring a seamless experience for leaders and participants.
  • Assist with agenda development, meeting preparation, and documentation management for recurring leadership meetings.
  • Support project planning activities by tracking milestones, timelines, risks, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify scheduling risks or operational gaps.
  • Maintain project documentation, action-item logs, meeting notes, and status reports.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication across Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Sales, Technology, and other business functions.
  • Prepare clear and professional presentations, reports, and executive-ready materials.
  • Communicate status updates to stakeholders and leadership teams using quantitative metrics and insights.
  • Build strong relationships with administrative partners, business leaders, and project teams.
  • Support process improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and enhance team operations.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline coordination processes and improve program execution.
  • Contribute to risk mitigation planning and operational best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, project coordination, event planning, administrative operations, or cross-functional stakeholder support within a large corporate environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and executive support teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including:
  • Experience using project and task management tools such as Planner, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
