As part of GAH's community-engaged portfolio, the K-12 Teaching Institute brings together elementary, middle and high school teachers from Central Ohio for an exploration of multidisciplinary approaches to understanding and teaching difficult subjects in America's past and present**Administrative Support:**- Provide administrative support for program operations, including correspondence, fiscaldata management, purchasing, and vendor payments.- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of program communications andpromotional materials, including digital and print newsletters, in collaboration with GAHcommunications staff.- Manage the procurement, preparation, and distribution of program materials forparticipating educators.- Maintain accurate program records, schedules, and other administrative documentationto support the effective operation of the Institute.**Program Coordination:**- Coordinate K-12 Teaching Institute programming throughout the academic year,including annual orientation events, classroom sessions, experiential learningopportunities, and workshops. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, logistics,and site coordination.- Support outreach, marketing, and recruitment efforts, including coordinating andleading information sessions with Central Ohio school districts and educators.- Coordinate and schedule Institute meetings and related activities, ensuring effectivecommunication and follow-through among participants, instructors, partners, and GAHstaff.- Participate in GAH committee and staff meetings, including Advisory Committeemeetings, and**Minimum Required Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree and/or combination of education and experience**Desired Qualifications*** Higher education experience* Demonstrated experience coordinating educational programs, workshops, events, or community-engaged initiatives.* Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.* Strong administrative and operational skills, including recordkeeping, scheduling, procurement, purchasing, and fiscal tracking.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite## Additional Information:**This is a part-time, 20-hour weekly, limited-term appointment of two years, with the possibility of a one-year extension (maximum three years total) based on exceptional performance and departmental needs.**Please submit both a cover letter and a resume to be considered for this opportunity.This position is hybrid with the possibility of full time remote.The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $21.59 - $25.75.
