Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector seeks a Business Management Analyst – Level 3 or 4, based in Redondo Beach, CA. This 100% onsite role focuses on budgeting, funding analyses, and Earned Value management to ensure program success.

The candidate will prepare expenditure projections, support government deliverables, and collaborate with teams to maintain funding availability while meeting cost control guidelines. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of business management or program control experience, or Master’s with 3 years.
• PhD considered for equivalent experience.
• Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance at time of application.
• Experience with financial analysis or reporting, MS Office.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

Responsibilities

• Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
• Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support.
• Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts stay within parameters and government guidelines.
• Perform EVM tasks including WBS development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis and visibility reports.
• Assist with program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking and analysis.
• Assist with preparation of financial CDRLs.
• Other duties as assigned.
