Job summary

Boys and Girls Clubs of the Big Bend seeks a Compliance Specialist to ensure program and grant compliance across after-school and summer programs. You will develop operational systems, monitor enrollment, and coordinate training to support accurate assessments of child and family needs.

You will work with Area Directors and Site Directors to ensure safe facilities, effective communication, and adherence to donor and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years in non-profit operations, youth services, or equivalent.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, volunteers, and partners.
• Grant research and grant writing skills are essential.
• Experience with program management, planning, operations, and evaluations.
• Familiarity with funders and community resources.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and fiscal software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures program compliance with all funders and regulatory guidelines.
• Trains and mentors Site Directors and staff as needed.
• Develops and monitors policies and procedures for program operations.
• Documents child education planning and observation data.
• Monitors enrollment, retention, and barriers to access; implements interventions.
• Manages volunteer hours documentation across sites with Volunteer Coordinator.
• Analyzes program operation reports and child impact data.
• Ensures safe, clean, well-equipped classrooms and play areas.
• Monitors daily site operations including education, family engagement, and compliance.
• Secures resources for staff, parents, and children; coordinates training materials.
