Job summary

Conrad N. Hilton Foundation seeks a Program Associate to support grantmaking, reporting, and knowledge sharing across the Initiative.

You will coordinate meetings, assist with budgets, and help manage project reports while engaging with diverse stakeholders in a collaborative, diplomatic manner. The role emphasizes strong writing, multitasking, and adherence to a hybrid work schedule with in-office days three per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or 5 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in the non-profit sector or a private entity with a social mission.
• Ability to adhere to the mandatory hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week at our headquarters office: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, effective from February 26, 2024.
• Skilled writer with the ability to produce communication products for a variety of audiences.
• Comfortable working with complex budgets and work plans and have a good understanding of non-profit finances and budgets.
• They are highly attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to SPO and PO on new proposals and current grants.
• Coordinate pre-grant inquiry, concept note, grant modifications with SPO/PO and grants management.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit and grant tracking procedures and grant reporting schedules.
• Communicate with applicants to address administrative questions about applications, budgets, and project measurements.
• Regularly update program officers on status of grant documents and funded projects.
• Monitor grant workflows and calendars to ensure timely approvals and payments.
