Job summary

U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) in Arlington, VA is seeking a Program Assistant to provide key support for TVAP and Aspire programs.

You will act as a front-line contact, coordinate referrals, and help manage daily operations across a multi-regional network of service providers. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centered care, data collection, and collaboration with program staff and partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (health/social services, intl affairs, immigration policy) or an Associate degree with 2+ years of related experience.
  • Experience serving victims of trafficking or immigrant populations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
  • Spanish language ability is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically as required.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact and manage the USCRI 1-800 line and network email.
  • Coordinate service referrals from providers, resettlement agencies, survivors, attorneys, and stakeholders.
  • Connect referrals to appropriate service providers and support program operations.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting of program outcomes.
  • Support creation and maintenance of program documentation and policies.
  • Participate in meetings and trainings related to TVAP/Aspire and assist with presentations.
