Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an organized administrator to support the Conflict Resolution Program staff and Democracy Resilience Networks leadership in Atlanta. You will draft project materials, manage meeting agendas and minutes, and coordinate communications across social media and web copy.

The role requires WordPress knowledge or the ability to learn, strong data entry and report drafting skills, and the capacity to work on-site at The Carter Center with a flexible weekly schedule.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of administrative experience
  • Proficiency with various personal computer software applications
  • Knowledge of WordPress or ability to learn WordPress
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
  • Non-exempt employees must reside within the state of Georgia
  • Ability to commute to The Carter Center on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs

Responsibilities

  • Support Conflict Resolution Program staff and Democracy Resilience Networks leadership in network maintenance and growth
  • Draft project materials, including toolkits and webpages, to support recruitment and participation of prospective network members
  • Organize regular network meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes
  • Manage network lists and membership inquiries
  • Arrange individual and group meetings and presentations, both virtual and in-person
  • Develop communications content, including correspondence, social media and web copy, presentations, proposals, and activity reports
  • Conduct research and monitor media and data trends related to electoral and political violence
  • Provide administrative and logistical support, including data entry, note-taking, report drafting, and workplan management
  • Support planning, coordination, reporting, outreach, and implementation activities
  • Perform other related activities as required
