Koniag Emerging Technologies LLC is seeking a highly experienced Program Assistant/Program Specialist Level III to support program activities and assist in coordinating the implementation of projects within a portfolio. This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and four to six years of experience in a relevant field, along with demonstrated abilities in working on projects and issues within overall policy guidelines, strong written and verbal communication skills, and knowledge of international narcotics and law enforcement issues.

The Program Assistant/Program Specialist Level III plays a crucial role in supporting program activities and assisting with the coordination of projects within a portfolio. With four to six years of relevant experience, the successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of program management, policy guidelines, and the ability to contribute effectively to various tasks, including drafting high-level documents, conducting in-depth research, supporting budget formulation and program evaluation efforts, and providing logistical support for outreach projects. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and knowledge of international narcotics and law enforcement issues are essential for success in this advanced role.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

The Program Assistant/Program Support Specialist Level III will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Support program activities and assist in coordinating the implementation of projects within a portfolio.
  • Aid in drafting success stories, briefing papers, talking points, and presentations for management review and use.
  • Manage program files and records, and track reports.
  • Research materials as required to compile information, reports, and statistical information regarding the supported program.
  • Support officials in coordinating policy issues relating to the portfolio.
  • Assist in managing program budget formulation, analyze budget proposals, and help prepare justifications and memoranda for presentations to OMB and Congress.
  • Aid in evaluating program effectiveness in relation to the funding expended for regional programs.
  • Assist in office outreach projects by providing logistical support.
  • Perform administrative duties as required to support program requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • For a position in the U.S., must be a U.S. Citizen or legal U.S. resident; for a position outside the U.S., any citizenship (U.S., Third Country National (TCN), and Local National (LN)) is allowable.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Four to six years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on projects and issues within overall policy guidelines.
  • Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication, sufficient to draft action and information memos, congressional testimony, press guidance, and congressional and general correspondence.
  • Knowledge of international narcotics and law enforcement issues.
