Chicago-Park-District seeks a Program and Event Coordinator in the Special Recreation Department to plan and oversee citywide programs that bring programming resources to parks. You will meet with partner organizations, define tasks, and ensure completion while coordinating projects and events.
The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least three years of related experience, with strong communication and planning abilities to produce reports and promotional materials.
Under supervision, coordinates special programs and events to bring programming resources to parks that would otherwise be unavailable. Performs related duties as required.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related fieldsupplemented by three (3) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
