Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to provide financial management support to the U.S. Navy's Advanced Undersea Systems Program Office (PMS 394) at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC!

You will provide direct support to the U.S. Navy Advanced Undersea Systems Program (PMS 394) in support of its program, including funding execution, budgeting, and financial analysis to sustain, modernize, and evolve undersea systems.

Qualifications

• Seven years of professional work experience with focus on business and financial processes, practice, and analysis.
• Navy ERP experience (min 2 years).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience with Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS).
• BS/BA degree (or equivalent years of experience).
• Active Secret DoD Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the program Financial Team on execution of programmatic funds.
• Coordinate and prepare contractor Procurement Requests to support CORs for funding new contract awards, exercise of contract options, TIs, and updating administrative actions for schedule changes and various sections of the contract.
• Monitor funding status on program office contracts and provide funding recommendations for contract and contract TIs.
• Track and analyze project obligation and expenditures for advanced undersea systems; execution monitoring of accounts is a significant task.
• Analyze relevant expenditures and expected costs for system development, production, installation, maintenance, sustainment, and modernization.
• Manage spend plans and provide weekly/bi-weekly inputs to the BFM and Production Manager.
• Identify, track, update and report on Action Items assigned to the Program Office.
• Provide technical preparation and formatting of official correspondence.
• Provide budget, cost, and financial analysis and recommendations to the Principal Assistant Program Manager.

You will provide direct support to the U.S. Navy Advanced Undersea Systems Program (PMS 394) in support of its program.

• Able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• BS/BA degree (or equivalent years of experience)
• Active Secret DoD Clearance.

Desired Education and Experience

• Three (3) years of NAVSEA Program Office support experience.

Work Location: Washington Navy Yard. Limited telework potential.
