Job summary

Department of Buildings (DOB) seeks a position focused on reviewing, accessing, and analyzing data related to all operations and enforcement activities across District properties. The role is centered on maximizing the effectiveness and impact of DOB through data-driven insights and cross-cutting program assessment.

The incumbent will develop strategic data collection systems, support long-range planning, and provide analytical guidance to enhance inspecting, permitting, and code enforcement

Responsibilities

• Provides critical analysis and evaluations of actual or potential effectiveness of current and/or projected program activities related to DOB.
• Reviews and analyzes planning and operations activities of major program areas administered by the department, including inspections and enforcement.
• Plans, develops and implements a system to collect and deliver data required for long-range planning and operational evaluations.
