Job summary

The City of Baltimore's Department of Planning is seeking an Applied Data Scientist for its Operations, Data, and Performance team. The role will integrate data from multiple systems, build data pipelines and automated workflows, develop dashboards and analytical products, and help staff and leadership use data to improve operations and decision-making.

A bachelor’s degree and six years of experience are required, with a Maryland driver’s license and participation in a probationary period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Management, or related field.
• Six years of professional-level administrative, operations, or technical work experience.
• License: valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver’s license or equivalent out-of-state license.
