Job summary

City of San Antonio is seeking an analyst to support a specific city or department program. The role involves analyzing operations, evaluating data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with rules and budgets. Assigned to one of twelve Senior Center locations, with shifts that vary within 7:00 a.m.

to 7:00 p.m., 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and may benefit from bilingual English/Spanish skills, prior experience with seniors, and supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of government procedures and policies.
• Knowledge of budget and accounting principles.
• Knowledge of data analysis and statistics.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assists in gathering, interpreting, analyzing, and evaluating program data related to performance metrics and compliance with established rules and regulations.
• Assists with interpreting and communicating program guidelines and related City policies and procedures.
• Maintains relationships with community and partner organizations regarding program initiatives.
• Assists in managing budgets and resources to ensure that program meets scope, guidelines, and budget.
• Monitors compliance with established program requirements associated with contracts and/or grants.
• Assists in identifying and prioritizing operational and technical needs and requirements.
• Assists with implementing program operations, initiatives, and services.
• Participates in community outreach to ensure awareness and participation in programs.
• Assists in coordinating with relevant department and city staff regarding program needs.
• Assists in the preparation of written reports, summaries, and presentations on program plans and performance metrics.
• Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
