Mercer County's Department of Human Services seeks an Assistant Program Analyst to support program analysis, contract monitoring, budget oversight, and coordination of initiatives in Trenton, NJ. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, and produce accurate reports.

This full-time role offers a stable schedule Monday–Friday with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of professional experience in the review, analysis and evaluation of operating programs in an agency or organization.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsabilités

• Monitor assigned contracts to ensure vendors meet contractual requirements, deliverables, timelines, service levels, and quality standards.
• Verify that expenditures and services align with approved contract scopes, budgets, and funding requirements.
• Review vendor performance, invoices, reports, records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monitoring reports, performance summaries, and recommendations for management.
• Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and review applications for recommendations of award.
• Maintain awareness of contract expiration dates, funding requirements, and amendment obligations.
• Develop County and grant budget projections and monitor contract spending to identify potential gaps in services.
• Coordinate multiple projects, assignments, and departmental initiatives in accordance with established priorities and deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as required.
