Job summary

USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is seeking a senior Program Analyst and Project Manager in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) to analyze and recommend actions on initiatives, evaluate program areas, develop surveys, and analyze data.

The role requires one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level, including audit liaison with GAO/OIG and leading multidisciplinary teams to design and implement program evaluation surveys.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including specialized experience and/or education, as defined below. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-13 level) that demonstrates the statements below:

• Conducted audit liaison functions with GAO and OIG (or similar groups) and prepared advisories for senior managers;
• Prepared audit responses that complied with current policies and met GAO and OIG (or similar groups) requirements;
• Designed and executed analytical studies and cost-benefit analyses to develop business cases for Company/Agency projects.
• Coordinated and integrated project activities and managed project resources, including contracts for specialized services;
• Led multidisciplinary teams to design, conduct, and implement Company/Agency program evaluation surveys.
