Job summary

GSA is seeking a Program Analyst to support evaluation of agency programs and planning of projects. The position develops analytical approaches and applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to assess effectiveness and efficiency of activities.

Responsibilities include data gathering, reporting findings, and assisting management with program improvements while working under supervision. Federal employment eligibility and probationary terms apply.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to gather data and apply analytical techniques to identify and resolve issues.
• Experience in compiling and presenting data orally and in writing.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze issues using analytical techniques to determine effective methodologies for program goals and milestones.
• Learn agency missions, policies and objectives to evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency.
• Support fact-finding and analysis through qualitative and quantitative methods to complete project phases.
• Identify and develop data required for use by higher level analysts in program management.
