Job summary

The Office of the U.S. Army Surgeon General / U.S. Army Medical Command Optical Fabrication program seeks a Program Analyst to perform a broad set of administrative and analytical duties in support of long-range planning and program implementation.

Based in Falls Church, VA, this role supports senior leaders through research, briefing briefs, and detailed analyses of program requirements. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade or equivalent,

About the Position

Serves as a Program Analyst at the Office of the U.S. Army Surgeon General / U.S. Army Medical Command performing a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in support of the Office of the U.S. Army Surgeon General / U.S. Army Medical Command Optical Fabrication mission.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in in researching and analyzing new or proposed legislation and regulations to determine program requirements and impacts; preparing briefings, information papers, and studies for senior leaders; and developing detailed plans for long-range implementation of the Optical Fabrication program. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
