The Bureau of the Fiscal Service is seeking a Program Analyst located in Birmingham, AL, to help expand the Treasury Offset Program (TOP) and increase federal revenues while reducing delinquent debt.

You will analyze information from diverse sources, work with system developers and Federal/state agencies, and review audit reports to assess operational impact. This role offers a telework option and a salary range of $106,437 to $158,322 per year.

This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Treasury Offset Program Division. As a program analyst, you will be responsible for portions of larger projects which result in the expansion of TOP to increase the revenues of the Federal government and reduce the amount of delinquent debt owed to the Federal government and States.

Key Responsibilities

As an Program Analyst, you will: Apply technical expertise to assignments and will provide technical expertise to other team members on matters pertaining to the expansion and improvement of the Treasury Offset Program. Analyze information gathered from a wide variety of direct and indirect sources concerning the effectiveness of ongoing programs.

Work closely with system developers and with Federal and State agencies, other Assistant Commissioner areas and interfacing automated systems on initiatives to continuously enhance the TOP system. Review audit and investigative reports to determine impact on program operations and management.
