CDI Head Start invites applications for an entry-level teaching assistant role in Monroe, Phillips, and Prairie Counties, AR. You will help with classroom activities, plan lessons, and support field trips while potentially assisting in kitchen or bus duties as needed.

The position requires being at least 18 years old. While no prior education or experience is required, a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience unless a local or state regulation requires a high school diploma or GED.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Some states may require Safe Serve for kitchen duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom activities, field trips, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance.
• Assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation as needed.
• Support the Head Start teaching team in daily operations.
