PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR II (T235899)
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR II for the School of Nursing (SON) to administer logistical support for the Department Chair Office, including personnel support for Adjunct, Irregular, Volunteer, and Secondary faculty appointments and actions, project and report support, data management support, and ensuring compliance with licensure, certification, health, and training requirements. The role provides program management/coordination and office support for the Department Chair Office, including calendar management for the Chair, and helps manage recurring events and special projects related to the School of Nursing as assigned by the Department Program Manager II and/or Department Chair.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. The position requires database management skills, administrative experience, and demonstrated knowledge of UAB specific policies and procedures. Strong working knowledge of APA formatting, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Oracle systems is required. Success in this position requires strong organizational, communication, work ethic, and interpersonal skills. All work performed must be in accordance with SON and UAB policies and procedures and the UAB Enterprise Code of Conduct.
Hourly Rate: $18.35 - $29.80
