Job summary

IMA Financial Group seeks a detail-oriented program administrator in Wichita, KS to support underwriting, reporting, and governance activities. The role requires strong MS Office proficiency, a property and casualty license, and solid communication skills.

You will track deliverables, assist with renewal timelines, and contribute to financial reporting for program-level clients, collaborating with staff and external partners. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of similar or related experience.
  • Experience with MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
  • Property and casualty license required.
  • Minimal travel (<15%).
  • Familiarity with accounting transactions, ratios, percentages, discounts, and commissions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail.

  • Leads, develops, and presents financial reporting to program level clients.
  • Leads preparation of agendas and reporting packages for board and membership meetings.
  • Manages program renewal timelines and feasibility/formation timelines.
  • Manages special projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to:

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

  • In consultation with the Program Manager, provides support and planning services for all administrative aspects of the program, including underwriting, and placement of fronting and reinsurance terms, including corporate governance activities
  • Leads, develops, and presents financial reporting to program level clients
  • Leads preparation of agendas and reporting packages for board and membership meetings
  • Accountability for and management of the program renewal timeline, and/or feasibility and formation timeline
  • Manages special projects

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:

  • 2 years to 5 years of similar or related experience
  • Experience with MS Office products required (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Property and casualty license required
  • Minimal travel required (less than 15%)
  • Familiarity with accounting transactions, ratios, percentages, discounts, and commissions
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong attention to detail
