Job summary

Family Services of America is seeking a Program Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for the foster care program. You will assist leadership with scheduling, correspondence, and meeting coordination, and maintain confidential records in line with licensing requirements.

This grant-funded, term-limited position may last up to three years and requires background checks and credentialing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Employment is contingent on successful completion of background checks and credentialing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to program leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, and meeting coordination.
  • Maintain organized, confidential program records and assist with licensing and reporting documentation.
  • Coordinate front-office functions, visitor logs, and communication in a child-safe, confidential manner.
  • Support accurate data entry into program systems and the EHR as directed, maintaining confidentiality of children's information.

Family Services of America (FSA) is a CARF-accredited behavioral health and child welfare organization and a licensed foster care agency in the state of North Carolina, headquartered in North Carolina. FSA provides trauma-informed, evidence-based care to children and families, including licensed foster care and therapeutic foster care, case management, clinical and behavioral health services, and wraparound supports. The Opportunity

The Program Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to FSA's foster care program, supporting program leadership, documentation, scheduling, and records management in a manner consistent with confidentiality requirements, CARF standards, and NC DHHS licensing.

Please note: This is a grant-funded, term-limited position for up to three years. Continuation is contingent on grant funding.

What You Will Own

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $36,600 – $43,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
