Qualifications

• Proven track record in project estimating within construction/manufacturing.
• Tech-savvy with estimation software and PM tools.
• Strong negotiation and client/vendor communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of cost-control techniques and contract nuances.

Responsibilities

• Build profitability blueprints by analyzing blueprints, specs, and docs using Bluebeam/HeavyBid to develop airtight estimates.
• Craft detailed proposals covering labor, materials, equipment, and overhead with minimal surprises.
• Lead negotiations with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to keep budgets on track.
• Monitor market trends, labor rates, and material costs to keep bids competitive and realistic.
• Identify cost discrepancies, risk, or scope gaps early to mitigate issues.
• Collaborate with project management to track expenditures against estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
