Job summary

Durahome Painting Plus seeks an Operations Manager in Saint Paul, MN to act as the right hand to the Owner/CEO and drive operational excellence. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution to achieve aggressive financial targets and sustainable growth.

The successful candidate will own company operations, optimize processes, recruit and coordinate projects, and ensure outstanding customer service across departments. A strong background in painting/home-improvement is preferred.

Qualifications

Proven experience in operations management, preferably in painting/home-improvement.
Strong financial acumen with budget, profit analysis, and cost-control skills.
Exceptional systems thinking with ability to document processes.
Experience recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding diverse teams.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

Ownership of operational systems and processes with authority to improve or replace.
Lead weekly system improvements and drive cross-department coordination.
Recruit, interview, and onboard project managers and other key roles.
Coordinate production, scheduling, and material ordering for painting projects.
Maintain high customer satisfaction and oversee office operations.
