The University of Notre Dame invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor in STEM education to lead as director of the Notre Dame Center for STEM Education. The position combines rigorous research leadership with programmatic collaboration across the Institute for Educational Initiatives.

The successful candidate will advance interdisciplinary education research, mentor faculty and students, and shape strategic directions for two anchor programs: ND PACT and Notre Dame STEM Teaching

Qualifications

Earned doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in a STEM discipline or related field.
Strong record of scholarly achievement and leadership in STEM education.

Responsibilities

Lead as director of the Notre Dame Center for STEM Education within the IEI.
Maintain a nationally recognized research agenda focusing on STEM education and translate findings into practice.
