Job summary

Artheon in East Brunswick or Neptune, NJ, seeks a Professional Stormwater Engineer to lead civil design and drainage projects for land development and municipal systems.

You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and HEC-RAS to develop layouts, prepare permit applications, and collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and other engineers. A PE license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.

Responsibilities

Design and Drafting

• Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage and utilities using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).

Permitting And Compliance

• Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards

Project Collaboration

• Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.

Technical Reports

• Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.

Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.

Technical Proficiency

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HyrdoCAD, HEC-RAS and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus

Licensing

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
