The role emphasizes tracking utilization metrics, improving delivery capacity, and developing scalable processes across a global IT services organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations, project management, business analysis, or professional services operations.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret utilization and margins and build executive dashboards.
• Technical aptitude with PSA tools, CRM platforms, reporting apps, and integrated systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field.

• Financial and metrics tracking of billable utilization, project margins, forecasts, and budgets.
• Standardize delivery methodologies and develop operational SOPs to reduce friction.
• Manage and improve PSA, time-tracking, reporting, and planning tools.

The Professional Services Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing the infrastructure, workflows, resource planning, and operational processes that support the consulting and technical services organization. This role serves as a key connection point between leadership, finance, sales, and delivery teams to scale profitability, track utilization metrics, and streamline professional service automation (PSA) tools.

Responsibilities

• Financial and Metrics Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators, including billable utilization, project margins, forecasting accuracy, budget performance, and delivery capacity trends.


• Process Optimization: Standardize delivery methodologies, develop operational standard operating procedures, and identify opportunities to reduce friction across the professional services lifecycle.


• Systems Administration: Manage, configure, and improve professional services automation, time-tracking, reporting, and planning tools to support accurate operational visibility.


• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Delivery leadership to support business planning, resolve operational roadblocks, and ensure alignment across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in operations, project management, business analysis, or professional services operations, preferably within a technology, consulting, or Salesforce environment.


• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial and operational data, interpret utilization and margin trends, and develop executive-level dashboards and reporting.


• Technical Aptitude: Experience working with professional services automation tools, CRM platforms, reporting applications, and integrated business systems.


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.


• Experience building scalable operational processes, reporting frameworks, and governance models.


• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced services environment.

This role pays between 75,000 - 85,000 annual.
