Qualifications

  • 4+ years of direct people management experience leading global enterprise sales support teams.
  • Deep hands-on and administrative Salesforce expertise (workflows, reporting, dashboards, objects).
  • Proven ability to design scalable quote-to-cash and post-sales workflows.

Responsibilities

Sycomp is seeking a strategic, highly process-driven Director of Sales Operations to lead and optimize our global backend sales enablement and operational infrastructure. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, refining the post-sale workflows, and delivering actionable operational intelligence to executive leadership. Directing a US-based team that supports our multi-time-zone global sales force and international enterprise customers, you will serve as the engine ensuring revenue operations run with speed, precision, and scalability.

Responsibilities
Backend Process & Order Fulfillment Management
  • Lead, scale, and optimize all backend sales operations workflows, including order entry, post‑sales processing, and quote‑to‑cash lifecycle.
  • Establish smooth, cross‑functional alignment between Sales, Logistics, and Finance to eliminate bottlenecks and accelerate order fulfillment.
  • Enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) for global order processing, accommodating regional logistics, cross‑border compliance, and custom client requirements.
Process Improvement & Automation
  • Conduct systematic evaluations of the end‑to‑end sales workflow to identify friction points and implement scalable solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across backend sales operation processes.
  • Partner with IT and Systems teams to automate manual administrative tasks and reduce overall sales cycle time.
  • Oversee the UAT and user adoption of Salesforce enhancements, custom applications, and integrated sales productivity tools.
  • Translate complex business requirements into effective Salesforce workflows and executive dashboards.
  • Establish, track, and enforce operational KPIs surrounding order turnaround time, processing accuracy, deal velocity, and operational SLA compliance.
  • Provide direction on executive dashboards and reporting models that provide real‑time visibility into operational health and backend throughput.
  • Deliver recurring quarterly and annual operational reviews analyzing team output, process compliance, and areas for strategic improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a US‑based Sales Operations team supporting global sales reps and multi‑regional client accounts.
  • Set clear operational targets, balance team workloads across regions, and foster a culture of high performance and continuous professional growth.
  • Instill a customer‑centric operational culture, ensuring prompt, accurate, and high‑touch support for both internal sales partners and external clients.
Qualifications
  • Professional Experience: 8–10+ years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations within the technology, IT solutions, or enterprise software sectors.
  • Leadership & Team Management: 4+ years of direct people management experience, with demonstrated success leading teams that support complex, global enterprise sales models.
  • Salesforce Mastery: Deep hands‑on and administrative expertise in Salesforce (CRM workflows, custom reporting, dashboard creation, object management, and pipeline visibility) is highly desirable.
  • Process Engineering: Proven track record of designing, implementing, and governing scalable quote‑to‑cash, order processing, and post‑sales workflows.
  • Metrics & Analytics: Expertise in defining, establishing, and monitoring key operational KPIs using business intelligence tools (Salesforce Dashboards, Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Global Business Acumen: Strong understanding of international sales environments, multi‑currency transactions, cross‑border fulfillment, and global client support structures.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical industry experience).
