Job summary

RedSeal, Inc. is hiring a Professional Services Engineer to join our team and support deployments across enterprise and federal clients.

You’ll work with senior engineers on live implementations, develop the technical and customer-facing skills needed to lead future engagements, and help customers operate the RedSeal platform effectively. You will learn to configure integrations with client tool stacks, including Splunk, Azure Sentinel, and ServiceNow, and you’ll contribute to automation scripts

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in network/security engineering, IT support, or related technical role (internships/count)
• Foundational networking knowledge: routing/switching basics, firewalls, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs
• Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
• Interest in learning automation (Python, JSON/YAML) to support reporting/workflows
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers alongside a senior engineer
• Willingness to work directly with customers in a fast-paced tech environment

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned tasks within the implementation plan under guidance of a senior engineer
• Deliver training materials and document workflows to keep engagements repeatable
• Flag new data sources, use cases, or automation opportunities
• Communicate status clearly and escalate early when issues arise
