Securitas US Business Unit is hiring a Professional Security Officer for a full-time night shift in Lake Oswego, OR. The role focuses on maintaining a secure environment through access control, patrols, and vigilant observation.

The position requires high school education, strict attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Training and uniforms are provided, with benefits and potential for growth within the security team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
• frequent interactions with client employees and visitors.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Operate security technology during shifts.
• Conduct property tours (up to 8 miles per shift).
• Respond to incidents/alarms and coordinate with EMS/Fire services.
• Monitor CCTV and uphold site protocols.

Professional Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Lake Oswego, OR

Wage:$22.75/HR

Schedule: Sun - Mon: 0000 - 0800 & Tues - Wed: 0800 - 1600

Our Professional Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property - (4 - 8 miles per shift).
• Respond to incidents / alarms.
• Coordinate care with EMS / Firefighters.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation including an MVR.
• Driver Certification.
• Must be able to walk up to 8 miles per shift.
• CPR / AED training required (provided by employer).
