Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. seeks a professional Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services, including baths, cuts, and styling. You will prioritize pet safety and client satisfaction while handling grooming tools and maintaining a clean salon.

Responsibilities include advising pet parents on care, operating grooming equipment correctly, and working flexible hours including weekends and evenings in a busy grooming salon environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco or prior professional grooming experience.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling.
• Prioritize safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in the salon.
• Operate grooming instruments and sanitize tools per policy.
• Provide excellent customer service and grooming recommendations to pet parents.
• Maintain clean, safe grooming area and adhere to hygiene standards.
