Job summary

Petco is seeking a Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services for clients’ pets in our grooming salon. You will bathe, trim, and style dogs with care, safety, and attention to detail, while offering guidance to pet parents and maintaining a clean, compliant salon environment.

Qualifications

Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming experience.
High-school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to groom to breed standards with safety and care.
Strong attention to detail and customer service focus.
Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, and styling.
Operate grooming tools and maintain equipment cleanliness and safety.
Prioritize pet safety, comfort and well-being during all services.
Interact professionally with pet parents and provide grooming recommendations.
Maintain salon hygiene and assist with training junior staff when needed.
Adhere to Petco policies and breed-specific grooming standards.
