Job summary

Petco is seeking a dedicated Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services for our clients' pets. You will bathe, dry, trim, and style, ensuring each pet looks and feels its best while prioritizing safety and comfort.

As part of the grooming team, you will interact with pet parents, offer care recommendations, and maintain a clean, compliant grooming salon. Weekend, evenings, and holiday availability is required as per store schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming training.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with professional grooming and strong animal-care focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services per pet parents' instructions and breed standards.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment.
• Ensure pet safety, comfort, and well-being during grooming sessions.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and offer grooming recommendations.
• Maintain clean, sanitary grooming area and comply with hygiene policies.
• Train or support entry-level trainees when needed.
