Job summary

Petsense is seeking a grooming associate to provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats. The role includes taking appointments, following the company mission, and maintaining grooming records.

You will work with live animals, use a range of grooming tools, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the grooming process. The position requires at least 1 year of grooming experience, high school education or equivalent, and the ability to read, write, and count accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience grooming/styling pets.
• Must provide own tools (clippers, blades, shears) or be willing to purchase required tools.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense.
• Associates must read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Follow and demonstrate Petsense by Tractor Supply Mission and Values.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Assist in generating business by calling customers and scheduling appointments.
• Greet pets, perform grooming tasks and maintain forms and records.
• Adhere to safety rules and follow grooming procedures.
