Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a grooming associate to provide professional grooming services for dogs and cats and deliver excellent customer service in a busy retail setting. The role requires operating grooming tools, maintaining clean facilities, and following company safety standards.

Minimum 1 year of grooming experience, ability to work varied hours, and ownership of grooming tools or willingness to purchase them.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Paragon Level 1 & 2 training provided by Petsense; reading, writing and counting abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Follow and demonstrate Petsense mission and values.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Schedule appointments and answer phones.
• Assist in generating business by contacting customers and scheduling reminders.
• Grooming: clip nails, bath, trim patterns as requested.
• Maintain grooming tools and equipment cleanliness.
• Follow safety rules and procedures.
