Job summary

Petsense is seeking a professional pet groomer to provide grooming services for dogs and cats, applying established styles and techniques. You will manage appointments, greet pets on arrival, and ensure safe handling throughout the grooming process.

Evidence of at least 1 year in grooming, own tools or willingness to purchase, and a high school diploma are required. Paragon Level 1 & 2 training qualifies candidates for consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience grooming/styling pets.
• Must provide own tools or be willing to purchase required tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of Petsense training as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Follow and demonstrate Petsense mission and values.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Book appointments and greet pets as they come in.
• Clip dog's hair according to the determined pattern with clippers, blades and shears.
• Prepare grooming forms and maintain records with accuracy.
