Job summary

RPGFL is seeking skilled painters ready to relocate to Florida and work on high-profile commercial painting projects. You will prepare surfaces, apply coatings, and maintain quality while working with a range of tools and equipment.

You will be responsible for surface masking, scaffold and ladder work, and keeping the site organized and safe to ensure a top-quality finish.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial painting and coating applications.
• Ability to prepare surfaces and apply coatings to meet quality standards.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in painting tasks.
• Comfort with working at heights on scaffolding or ladders.

Responsibilities

• Apply varnish, polyurethane, primer, paint and caulk.
• Mask and prepare surfaces for coatings.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; load/unload materials and tools.

OPPORTUNITY TO MOVE TO FLORIDA and work on the highest profile projects in Florida

• Selecting and knowing how to use the correct tools for various tasks
  • Brush, roller, striping machine, taping and masking equipment, caulk gun, spray equipment, air compressor, hand tools, ladder, scaffolding, etc.
• Responsible for the application of varnish, polyurethane, primer, paint, caulk and other coatings
• Mask and prepare surfaces for coatings
• Clean and maintain equipment by removing all traces of paint
• Repair imperfections
• Perform exterior and interior painting of commercial buildings, drywall, steel, equipment, structures, etc. in a professional manor
• Prepare and protect work surfaces with drop cloths and masking
• Responsible for keeping the work area clean
• Responsible for loading, unloading, preparing and cleaning of job site materials, and tools.
• Provide quality work and take corrective action for conditions that may affect job quality
• Responsible for the setup and execution of tasks on scaffolding and ladders
• Communicate to foreman/supervisor if surface to be painted are not in proper condition to provide a quality finish
• Use materials and resources efficiently
