Job summary

RPGFL in Naples, FL is seeking an experienced painter to handle interior and exterior painting of commercial buildings, drywall, steel, equipment, and structures. You will prepare surfaces, apply coatings, and ensure quality finishes while keeping a clean work area and following safety practices.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, setting up scaffolding and ladders, and communicating surface conditions to foreman to ensure a high-quality finish.

Responsibilities

• Selecting and knowing how to use the correct tools for various tasks
• Responsible for the application of varnish, polyurethane, primer, paint, caulk and other coatings
• Mask and prepare surfaces for coatings
• Clean and maintain equipment by removing all traces of paint
• Repair imperfections
• Perform exterior and interior painting of commercial buildings, drywall, steel, equipment, structures, etc. in a professional manor
• Prepare and protect work surfaces with drop cloths and masking
• Responsible for keeping the work area clean
• Responsible for loading, unloading, preparing and cleaning of job site materials, and tools.
• Provide quality work and take corrective action for conditions that may affect job quality
• Responsible for the setup and execution of tasks on scaffolding and ladders
• Communicate to foreman/supervisor if surface to be painted are not in proper condition to provide a quality finish
• Use materials and resources efficiently
