Job description

Professional Liability Litigation Attorney | Hybrid, Los Angeles | $150,000 to $200,000

Your client is a lawyer who lost a case three years ago, and the only way out of this one is to go back and win the case they lost. Show the jury would have gone the same way with a perfect attorney sitting at that table and the whole claim falls over. Two cases for the price of one, which is why this work tends to pick up people who were going a bit stale on straight defense files.

Hybrid in Los Angeles, $150,000 to $200,000, and the California offices run as one team, so the files come from across the state and not only from whoever walked in downstairs.

It's a defense firm, and the thing they say about themselves is that you don't vanish into the middle of it. The partners actually mentor people, and associates get in front of a judge early. The hours target is sensible, there's a bonus when you hit it, and time off isn't something anybody counts.
