Job summary

Denver Public Schools in Colorado is seeking a professional learning facilitator to design and implement district-wide professional learning aligned with instructional standards. You will collaborate with leaders, content teams, and facilitators across schools to enhance instructional quality and equity.

The role emphasizes culturally responsive coaching, adult learning best practices, and data-informed improvement. A Colorado residence is required to support onsite work and district priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design and professional learning facilitation.
• Lead for racial and educational excellence and dismantle inequity in our community.
• Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the district’s vision for professional learning by collaborating with leaders and facilitators.
• Promote alignment of professional learning to the district's framework and priorities.
• Facilitate and contribute to cross-functional design teams to develop coherent training offerings.
• Integrate culturally responsive and equitable practices into training materials and experiences.
• Apply adult learning best practices to support effective facilitation and develop resources for central office and school-based educators.
• Build capacity of facilitators and teacher leaders through coaching and sharing tools.
• Support collection and analysis of feedback and evaluation data.
• Use data from professional learning systems to inform updates to training design and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
