Position Overview

This leadership role involves overseeing the Walla Walla Survey Department, including project scheduling, budgeting, proposals, and business development. Our multidisciplinary team handles diverse projects such as vineyards, renewable energy, and public land survey systems. This position offers high growth potential and the possibility to advance to Survey Department Manager.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $85,000 - $150,000 annually
• Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

• Washington state registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
• 3+ years' experience overseeing and performing land surveys as a registered PLS
• Experience in office production, including boundary, topographic, and construction surveying
• Experience in business development
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D and Carlson Survey
• Aspirations for growth and management responsibilities
• Valid driver's license

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform land survey and mapping functions
• Supervise survey technicians and field crews
• Plan and coordinate fieldwork
• Review and certify survey work
• Work with clients to identify needs and prepare proposals
• Secure additional survey projects
