This role is ideal for a technically strong survey professional who prefers to focus on production work rather than client management, meetings, or business development. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality survey deliverables while enjoying the flexibility of remote work and a task-focused workflow.

Ready to make an impact? Let’s talk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce a variety of land surveying documents including boundary, topographic, ALTA, subdivision maps, legal descriptions, and construction staking deliverables.
  • Review and certify survey documents such as plats, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
  • Collaborate remotely with project managers, CAD technicians, and field crews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Review and certify survey documents such as plats, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
  • Collaborate remotely with project managers, CAD technicians, and field crews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and public agencies to support project goals.
  • Ensure all survey activities meet applicable regulatory, professional, and quality standards.
  • Stay current with industry standards, equipment, software, and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Washington OR California (will consider other states).
  • 5+ years of experience delivering survey work in a project environment.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey software (such as Trimble Business Center or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in land surveying production.
  • Experience supporting both private and public sector projects.
  • Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and workflows.
