Comfort Keepers is looking for home aides, nursing assistants, and caregivers interested in joining us, learning and growing their skills within the senior care industry. Our Companion Care and Personal Care Caregivers are not only reliable, skilled, and honest but also compassionate, positive, and caring.
The hourly wage is between $15.50-$17.00 plus great benefits!
We are looking for a reliable caregiver who can work flexible hours. Veteran care is a plus. Weekday hours available. Shifts can vary; salaried on-call hours/shifts are available in Southlake, Denton, Trophy Club, Westlake, Euless, Keller, and Roanoke.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include providing companionship and conversation, assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding, performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing, laying out clothes, and assisting with dressing, planning and preparing meals, providing medication reminders, providing transportation to and from appointments, and helping family members learn safe care techniques.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS include the ability to treat clients with dignity and respect; the ability to interpret the client's provided plan of care; a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance (we drive to client's homes and provide transportation as needed); one year of senior caregiving experience (agency, facility, private client); the ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations; tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats); must be reachable via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and/or emergencies; able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs; and prior experience with dementia patients and senior care is a plus!
