Home Instead is actively hiring daytime caregivers in the Alvarado area! Morning and Weekend shifts available for caregivers with experience in Parkinson's care.

Home Instead is looking for caring, compassionate, and dedicated Caregivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow our clients to remain in their homes and face aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective and professional communication and a strong relationship with clients, their family members, and co-workers
• Provide personalized in-home support to senior clients
• Help clients with all personal care needs
• Help keep clients' environment clean and organized
• Remind clients to take self-administered medications

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and car registration
• Must be at least 21 years of age
