Senior HR Generalist, Consultant

Our firm is a professional HR Consulting firm is based in the Los Angeles area. We support small business clients throughout all of Southern California. We are looking to find that diamond in the rough Field-based, Senior HR Consultant based in the Southern California market. This field position is a hybrid "on client site" and "work from home office" role. It reports to the President of our firm.

We start every Consultant on a part-time basis during the training and on-boarding period with transition opportunity to go full time. Our Consultants will work their way from consulting projects to a few clients and later will lead a full portfolio of clients. We expect our consultants to be able to commute throughout all of Southern California to meet clients at their facility.

HR Consultants must be very strong senior generalist with real world experience, ranging from the basic fundamentals like new hire processing to more complex HR issues, such as managing Leaves, Workers Compensation claims, Wage and Rewards and Performance management. Successful candidates must have current or prior consulting experience or HR responsibility for multiple work sites. Must have at least four years of very strong knowledge of California legal compliance. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is not mandatory, but is preferred to better service our full client portfolio.
