Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Professional, Facilities Management to lead the end-to-end event lifecycle for clients across lines. You will consult with clients, coordinate space, AV, catering, and vendors, and deliver flawless events while building strong relationships with stakeholders.

The role requires 1–3 years in event planning or hospitality, excellent communication, budget awareness, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in event planning, project management, hospitality, or related field.
  • Excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all organizational levels, including C-suite.
  • Experience in budget planning with proven ability to deliver results within financial parameters.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to determine event needs including space requirements, AV and technical specifications, catering, and event support services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and key decision makers across business lines, conducting proactive outreach calls to identify and secure potential event opportunities.
  • Deliver high standards of care during events, consistently exceeding client expectations by anticipating needs and ensuring flawless execution.
  • Coordinate with vendors, facilities staff, and service providers to ensure excellent coordination and execution with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collect and coordinate feedback from business line stakeholders and client attendees to integrate into continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of meeting and event trends, innovations, and opportunities, identifying and proposing best practices to enhance service delivery.

As an Professional, Facilities Management at JLL, you'll serve as a strategic partner to clients across multiple business lines, designing and executing exceptional meetings and events that drive business outcomes. This role combines consultative expertise with hands-on coordination, requiring you to understand client needs, anticipate requirements, and deliver seamless experiences. You'll manage the full event lifecycle—from initial client consultation through post-event feedback while building lasting relationships with key stakeholders and maintaining JLL's reputation for hospitality excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Consult with clients to determine event needs including space requirements, physical set-up, AV and technical specifications, catering, and event support services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and key decision makers across business lines, conducting proactive outreach calls to identify and secure potential event opportunities
  • Deliver high standards of care during events, consistently exceeding client expectations by anticipating needs and ensuring flawless execution
  • Coordinate with vendors, facilities staff, and service providers to ensure excellent coordination and execution with minimal disruption to operations
  • Collect and coordinate feedback from business line stakeholders and client attendees to integrate into continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain active awareness of meeting and event trends, innovations, and opportunities, identifying and proposing best practices to enhance service delivery
  • Complete all assigned tasks, projects, and reports with timely delivery based on established deadlines, following escalation and incident reporting procedures as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in event planning, project management, hospitality, or related field
  • Excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all organizational levels, including C-suite
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a demonstrated passion for hospitality and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in budget planning with proven ability to deliver results within financial parameters
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, with flexibility for some nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Planning, Communication or related majors
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure
  • Track record of initiative, integrity, and good judgment in professional settings
  • Highly collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport quickly
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working across diverse business lines or in corporate environments

Location: 1030 Admiral Nelson Court Charlotte, NC 28262

Work Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Hybrid role but on Tuesday through Thursday onsite (or as needed by client)
