We seek candidates for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, and Power Engineering positions. These roles support SEPTA’s mission by ensuring projects meet specifications, plans, and regulations.

OVERVIEW

If you're interested in Transportation Engineering, our career ladder program supports growth from entry level to project management. Join our innovative team of engineers making a difference in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

The Engineer III role requires extensive engineering experience. Responsibilities include managing moderate complexity projects, providing technical support, and aligning activities with SEPTA's mission and values.

Starting Salary: $84,864.00. Mentors available for EIT registration. Additional $5,000 for Pennsylvania PE License.

Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering/Architecture and 3 years of relevant experience.

Starting Salary: $76,024.00. Mentors available for EIT registration.

Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering/Architecture and 1 year of relevant experience.

Engineer I – Entry Level

Responsible for basic engineering/quality assurance tasks. Provides technical support consistent with SEPTA’s mission.

Starting Salary: $69,628.00. Mentors available for EIT registration.

Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering/Architecture; no prior experience required.
