Job summary
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer with land development experience to design, manage, and deliver infrastructure projects from concept through permitting and construction in Florida.
The ideal candidate will lead design of land development infrastructure, perform engineering calculations, prepare plans and permit documentation, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
- Florida PE license required
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university
- 5+ years civil engineering experience in land development
Responsibilities
- Design land development infrastructure including roads, stormwater, drainage, potable water and sanitary sewer systems
- Perform and review engineering calculations
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Prepare and process permits through regulatory agencies
- Review and approve shop drawings and material specifications
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, CAD designers and other disciplines
- Participate in client and project meetings
- Support construction inspection, permit certification, and project closeout
- Maintain high standards for technical quality, organization and project delivery

We're seeking a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer with land development experience to design, manage, and deliver infrastructure projects from concept through permitting and construction.
- Design land development infrastructure including roadways, stormwater, drainage, potable water, and sanitary sewer systems
- Perform and review engineering calculations
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Prepare and process permits through applicable regulatory agencies
- Review and approve shop drawings and material specifications
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, CAD designers, and other disciplines

- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license - REQUIRED
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience in land development
- AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
- Experience with ICPR and/or ASAD preferred
- Microsoft Project, Excel, and Microsoft Office experience
- Strong technical, communication, and project coordination skills
- Established Florida firm with 40+ years of experience
