Job summary

MAC7 Environmental Services in Chicago, IL is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join our Engineering & Environmental Services team. You’ll lead and contribute to diverse residential and commercial projects, performing engineering analyses, site evaluations, and environmental assessments, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of PE experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE with 3+ years of experience in engineering or environmental services
• Experience in project management and engineering assessments
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to conduct site visits and perform inspections
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug testing

Responsibilities

• Project Assessments: Conduct detailed engineering analyses and environmental assessments for residential and commercial projects
• Site Inspections: Perform site evaluations and inspections to ensure projects meet engineering and environmental standards
• Client Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on project needs and regulatory requirements
• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers to deliver seamless service and ensure project success
